About Our Product
Our Oz OnHold PC System is a simple computer program which runs on a PC computer in your office during work hours. Your PC will need to be turned on during all work hours and will need to have a sound card. When we say simple. we really mean simple. You don't need to be a computer nut to operate our program.
Script the Message you would like to play to your callers and email it through to us at al@spot.com.au
We will then record your message, call you and let you approve it, and then send you your customized message and Oz On Hold Program on a CD.
You simply insert the Oz OnHold Program Disk and follow the simple instructions to install the program into your "Program File Folder" on your main hard drive.
You will then need to connect your computers "headphones / audio output" ("audio output is located on the back of your computer OR your "computer speakers output" is located on the front of your computer's speakers) into your telephone on hold jack (see below) in your office building with a lead that we supply to whatever length you need.
The telephone box in your building should have an "onhold input" jack on "on hold input" jack to plug the supplied lead in to. if it does not, please contact your telephone system supplier, it should not be a trial to have one installed.
You will need to adjust the volume for your callers to hear your message with the volume control either in your computer controls or on your computer's speakers. Call yourself, or put yourself on hold to test the playback and volume levels.
The Oz OnHold PC System costs $399.00 . This is a one off fee, there are no on going fees and payments. Your first personalized message comes with your program.
TO UPDATE YOUR MESSAGE
Message updates cost $155.00 . We also have a Birthday Present every year which is a 10% Discount on that price - don't worry - We'll remind you of your birthday so you don't miss the discount! If you know that you want to update quite regularly e.g. seasonal greetings etc, please ask about Multiple Update Discounts.
You can email us your new updated script and once we have recorded it and recieved your approval, the sound file can be emailed back to you or sent to you via the post on a cd.

FAQ's
1. How much is the Oz On Hold program? A one off payment of $399.00 . No ongoing rental payments, No Hassles.
2. How much are updates? $155.00, but you get a 10% discount on your Oz On Hold Birthday!!!
3. Does the Oz On Hold Program play other music files? No, The Oz On Hold Program only recognised the Oz On Hold sound file supplied by the Hughes Group.
4. Do you have male and female voices for the message recordings? Yes, you can specify male and female voice overs, alternatively for each paragraph or whatever you want!
5. How long should/could the message go for? It can be a as long or as short as you like. we suggest around 3 minutes long. which is around 300 words.
6. I can't find this on hold jack on my telephone box??? The jack is usually located on the side or the front of your telephone box in your building. it is usually labelled for onhold as most companies plug a radio into it! ah! it is small! 3.5mm! If you can't find it, track down your local and friendly telephone / communications consultant. If you hit a wall, call us, we can chat to them for you.
7. What kind of music do you use in the background? Can i use my own personalised jingle? We have a selection of royalty free jingles of varying tempos and feels to use as your background music. We can also create music to suit your message. Yes, you can use your own jingle, send it through to us. The better the quality, the better it will sound (avoid mp3's if you can!)
8. Do you have any script suggestions? Can i get some help to write it? Yes indeed! Contact us, we are more than happy to help.
9. Why do you make On Hold Systems? Don't you guys make aircraft? Our manager, Howard, is a little eccentric and a little innovative. He wanted an on hold system for our company and started researching into the companies that make them and found them all to be insanely priced, and all with on-going rental and fees and costs. So he set out to make an on hold system for the small business market. Something we, and you, can actually afford. Oz On Hold has simply grown, over a decade, through word of mouth.
