'The Roadie' - An Electric Car designed with the aerodynamics of Australia's Safest Light Sport Aircraft
Hughes Engineering's desire to contribute to solutions
to climate change has resulted in our development of what
we hope will be Australia's first production all-Australian-designed, three-seat, electric motor vehicle.
The ‘Roadie' as we call it, will be driven by state-of-the-art electronics and batteries and will feature an ultra-sleek and ultra-light aerodynamic body. Driving with a single rear wheel with two steerable wheels up front. And yes, there are a lot of similarities between the body of our Roadie and our Australian LightWing SP-2000 aircraft.

manager, Howard, as you have probably guessed, is an innovative man. So, a few years ago, when
he wanted to complete his marketing campaign with an on hold system he started looking around and found
them all to be insanely priced and all with on-going rental
and fees and costs! No Way! So he designed an on hold system, at a small business price
for the small business market.
Something we, and you, can actually afford! Contracts and fees?? No Way!
