INTRODUCING The Australian LightWing TAPIS

 

Hughes Engineering wish to introduce the Australian LightWing 'Tapis' Aircraft.

 

This aircraft will be a close cousin of the SP (SPEED) Range of Australian LightWing Aircraft, althought the Tapis Aircraft will feature a High Wing configuration.

 

The ALW Tapis will have an 8 metre wing span and have cabin dimensions of 1.15metres wide and 1.01 metres high.

 

The Powerplant will be the Superior I0360 - 180 hp, the Rotax 912 uls, or the MW 130hp; providing a cruise speed of 100 knots.

 

WATCH THIS SPACE as the new ALW Tapis aircraft joins the Australian LightWing Range of Aircraft.

 

 

 

The Specifications for the Tapis aircraft will be that of the SP Range, which can be viewed here.
